PEN Travel Fellowships

       

PEN are offering Travel Fellowships to young researchers. Travel Fellowships are open only to members of PEN partner institutions travelling to PEN partner institutions. on short term scientific missions. Travel and subsistence will be covered only for a maximum of one month (no bench fees will be reimbursed).

 

Work carried out must fall under one of the themes of PEN, namely:
- Methods of detection and molecular characterisation of pathogenic E. coli
- Virulence and emerging pathogenic E. coli
- Epidemiology and transmission of pathogenic E. coli
- Ecology of pathogenic E. coli
- Control and management of pathogenic E. coli

 

Fellowships will be awarded on a yearly basis. The closing date for applications for travel in 2009 is the 31st of December, 2008. Successful applicants will be notified by the 9th of January, 2008.
